Petri nets (PNs) are a tool that can be used to model and analyze complex systems. Using PNs also increase the understanding of a system while presenting the system to colleagues and others interested in the study. This paper will use Timed Petri nets (TdPNs) as a tool to model various game algorithms such as checkers, tic-tac-toe, and robot soccer. Once these algorithms are developed and tested, they can be implemented into various types of robots. Before artificial intelligence (AI) can be implemented, it must be modeled and tested. Modeling and testing these games is a stepping stone into a world where robots and machines are capable of autonomous behavior.
